NEXPO

NEXPO is IDEA's annual venture showcase event, which takes place during Global Entrepreneurship Week every November. Ventures are invited to attend and present at the event. It is an opportunity for ventures to showcase what they are working on and for IDEA to show the community what our ventures are doing.

Pitchathon

This is an event that occurs every April where ~10 ventures are invited to present in front of angel investors in our network. The ventures present in a fast-paced series of five-minute pitches. Typically, the ventures presenting stem from a variety of industries including high tech, social impact, general retail, and others. Following the pitches, attendees are invited to stay for networking and cocktail reception.

Ready Stage Orientation

Ready Stage Orientation is IDEA's first step for someone to want to be an IDEA venture. This event is the first introduction to IDEA and our process. This event covers the basics of the program, the resources and process available, expectations, next steps and a Q&A. People who attend this event are not yet IDEA ventures until they sign up to be one in Babele.
